Andrea Fernandes
Andrea (she/her) has over 15 years’ experience in the for-purpose sector. She has held roles in project management, business process and system implementation, contract management, and most recently, strategic and annual planning. Currently, she is the Strategy and Planning Manager at the Youth Support & Advocacy Service (YSAS). Having completed The Observership Program and developed skills in not-for-profit board governance and strategy, Andrea contributes to other organisations in the sector. She is a Board Director at YWCA Hunter, and volunteers on other committees and initiatives. Andrea has an MBA (Social Impact) from UNSW, and Bachelors of Arts and Commerce (Honours) including research on diversity and social inclusion. She lives in Melbourne and spends her leisure time with her loved ones and exploring places through travel.
