Dean Hampel is a proud and  passionate Melbourne local. He is also the Co-Founder of Australia’s leading luxury travel, leisure and tour company – Localing Private Experiences. Localing was formed in 2013 with a lifelong friend Dan Platt. The focus from the beginning has been to distinguish themselves through outstanding service and a uniquely personal approach to private touring. They are passionate about creating experiences they would love; which are flexible, creative and deeply immersive. They believe feeling like a local on the other side of the world is a pretty special feeling, created through insight and genuine connection.

Dean has brought years of local leadership experience following senior Executive roles at major Australian arts, community, political & other public Institutions including The Melbourne Theatre Company, The Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Dancehouse Contemporary Dance, The Jewish Holocaust Centre and TEDx Melbourne.
