Scott is an author, researcher and policy advisor. He is a highly experienced senior executive with experience in climate change, energy, water, waste and natural resource management.

In his role as Executive Director Renewable Energy for the Victorian Government, he led renewable energy policy and programs across Victoria.

Scott is a current member of the Australia-German Energy Transition Hub – Strategic Advisory Panel and works as a consultant to governments, businesses and community organisations, including the NSW Government.

He is currently senior advisor to the Smart Energy Council’s Zero Carbon Certification Scheme for renewable hydrogen, renewable ammonia and renewable metals.
