Linda Bibby is the Director of Policy and Legislation in the Resources Branch of the Victorian Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions. She leads a team that develops reform proposals for earth resources laws, so that industry and communities across Victoria can have confidence in how various resources projects are regulated. In 2018 her team delivered State of Discovery, Victoria’s first Mineral Resources Strategy. A geologist in a former life, her career spans regional mapping, business analysis, information management, regulation and natural resources policy. Outside of work she loves trekking in the mountains and avoiding housework.
